  1. I love the candles in the jar, where did you get them?
  2. Good morning all, I can remember the anticipation for my big day, just a month ago on July 8. I can also remember the feelings of regret just a few days after, feeling I had possibly made a big mistake......now one month after, I am starting to see and feel the rewards of possibly one of the greatest steps of my life, and I am glad to be here, where I am. Reading all your comments has definitely made this process much better. Thank you for taking time to post and ask questions because we have all come across similar challenges in the first 30 days. Time has passed so quickly ( except for the first week;). I hope you are all in good health!
  3. 88. Wow that is great. Congratulations!
  4. Hi Jessica, I was sleeved on July 8 th, I have lost about 22 lbs, just feeling my clothes a bit loose and feeling great. Your loss is very noticeable, congratulations.
  5. Congratulations. You look great. I cannot wait until I can say, I am getting close to my target.
  6. I am 4 weeks out and have had occasional pain on my left shoulder in the morning while still in bed. Should I consider this as a symptom of a leak? Over all I feel good, sometimes a bit of discomfort while laying on my side. Any thoughts?
  7. I like your idea, but I have not yet started to measure myself. Will do so tonight.
  8. My scale moved a bit too, so happy. How are you all doing with your eating, and transitioning to soft foods?
  9. Hello there, I was so happy to have some food today, transitioning from liquids and shakes to purred. Had some Tuna, mmm it was soo good. Maybe this can help break the stall.,......wishful thinking:)
  10. I was sleeves on July 8. Weight was 222 current weight is 209. I have been like this for the last five days. I was also a bit discouraged seeing how little intake I have and how the scale does not move. I do regular everyday walking, some walks around the block in my house but overall very easy walking. I will go back to work tomorrow. One thing that I keep in mind when the scale gives me no encouragement is that I have began a journey not a sprint. I hope to soon see the movement of the scale once again:).
  11. My doctor sowed some fat on the sleeve said this helps keep it all in place. Not sure if this is normal practice for all.
  12. Wow 22 lbs in 2.5 weeks, it does not get much better than that, you should be celebrating. Maybe because you had such a strong start you feel disappointed of not keeping the same pace. But remember, there is nothing wrong with slow and steady. I am 12 days post op, lost 13 lbs and most in my first week. Wish I could keep the pace of the first week but I know that is unlikely.
  13. I am 12 days post opp, was craving Lemon juice, had two squeezed lemos on 8 oz of Water. Any thoughts on this? Could this be bad for my sleeve?
  14. You do inspire those of who are just getting started congratulations!
  15. You look great. Congrats!
  16. Hello Everyone, Tomorrow will be my first week. I am improving day by day but have had hot flashes at night. Lots of sweating while still feeling cold. Is this normal?
  17. Thank you for sharing your story and pictures. I am one week post opp, trying to adjust to the tiny belly and having regrets at times. Your journey and success brings me inspiration.
  18. Now that you are 4 weeks out, do you feel normal? Do you have any regrets of your different eating habits? Tomorrow is my first week. Everyday is getting better, but it saddens me, when I cannot drink Water as I used to, I hope that with time this changes.
  19. Thank you for the tip Melhendy
  20. I am home now, feels like I am not getting in the fluids and protein that i should. My stomach is very soar, still have lots of gas pains.
  21. I had mine on the 8th too. Leaving the hospital today, I have been very tired, but at the same time, I cannot sleep. Hopefully I will be able to get some test in my bed.
