  1. Skinny mashed potatoes are awesome! I can't believe how much I am enjoying them! Let me know if you want the recipes. No butter, salt or milk!

  7. Besides everything else on your list I brought a journal to write in. Also I was able to fill my prescription for lortab elixir for the pain in advance .
  8. Staples out today!!!! Anyone else having extreme itching at their incisions? I know it is part of the healing but OMG it itches!!!!!

  12. Hi sprinkle!!!! Yes, I was definitely hungry! I can tell the difference between hunger and gas as of today. I call the nutritionist and to her I was so hungry I felt dizzy and nausea. She told me to eat a couple of ounces of mashed potatoes that have been thinned with milk . I did and those were the best mashed potatoes I ever ate!!!!! I could only eat about an ounce though. Yes I am so happy to get the staples out, I am definitely healing and my stomach itches!!!!!!
  13. Day 6 and feeling better by the day! Staples out tomorrow! Worked yesterday, came home after 6 hours. Went in today and worked 7 hours in the office then had a dinner seminar for 3 hours. I had broth while everyone else was eating lamb chops and drinking wine! But it was fine, I was happy with my broth!!!! My back started hurting and I felt a little nausea, left the seminar early. Feeling much better lying in my bed! I hope everyone is doing well!!!!
  14. Banded7/10 /13 feeling great! Gas almost gone, back to work , staples out tomorrow.

  16. Day 6 post op and I lasted 6 hours at work. I was so tired and my back was killing me! Trying for 6 hours again tomorrow.
  17. My sleep has been intermittent all night. The most I am sleeping is 3 hours at a time. I agree, 8 hours straight would be awesome!
  18. I have a follow up on Wednesday 1 week post op got staple removal.
  19. Nectar by Syntax is wonderful, I have been drinking the roadside lemonade, it is really good!
  20. LOL!!!! My stomach is huge too! Much larger than pre op! Hoping it goes down very soon.
