  1. It would probably be a god idea for us to follow and support each other on MFP. MFP is just a little extra incentive to make us accountable. Accountability is everything!
  2. Sprinkle, I couldn't agree with you more. This site has been a blessing. There's no way I could talk to people on FB about what I'm gong through because they wouldn't understand. I feel like y'all are my friends now and we've never met. Thank you all for the instant support.
  3. Can you feel your port? My tummy is to sore to be probing around looking for it.
  4. I slept 4-6 hours last night and on my side for a little bit. I'm making progress! I really want a protein drink but I'm afraid of the outcome.

  6. I'm feeling good. I am the registrars secretary at a high school. I'm pretty much working solo this summer which is a good thing. Students and staff are going to be shocked when they see me August 28. I'm already a diva but now I'm in super diva mode. Are you feeling any better?

  8. It took me 2 days to finish a bottle of Water after surgery. Today is day 3 post-op. I'm feeling much better. I have a few tender spots on my tummy but that's it. My leg muscles are sore from the socks they had on me during surgery. They fell like I've been at the gym working out. I wish they would have put those on my arms also. #instantWorkout LOL
  9. I didn't have time to ask. I was in and out in 4 hours. Seriously I was back home by 11am.
  10. I've never had a c-section but I'm betting the muscle pain is about he same. Thank God for vaginal births
  11. I coughed like that all day yesterday. Today not so much
  12. I wanted to pass so bad yesterday I could have cried. About 1:00am they broke free and I was excited and I felt so much better.
  13. The heat works wonders for the shoulder. My pain only lasted the first day. I wish I could get comfortable so I can rest. What flavor isopure are you drinking?
  14. Stick to your pre-op diet if they give you one. The pre-op diet tests your commitment to the new lifestyle.
  15. Now that some of us has had surgery.. What advice would you give a person seeking information about our journey?
  16. My mom just called me and too me she was proud of me for going through with the surgery. She's never told me she was proud of anything. Annnnndddddd......he's buying me a juicer!

  18. I hope you start feeling better soon. My worst pain was the shoulder pain. My tummy has 1 sore spot. I always had gas pains and these gas pains are a heck of a lot better. I keep a heating pad on my tummy most of the day.
  19. I'm still having a hard time getting comfortable.
  20. Online. It has a good flavor. I could only eat about 6 spoons full. I think that packet will last me all day
  21. Do any of y'all have to inhale in that airlife thing?? It's supposed to prevent blood clots.
