  1. Has anyone very heard of Nature Box. It is a website that sends you a box of healthy natural snacks right to your door each month. Sounds interesting but I don't know the nutritional facts. Anyone out there use this website?
  2. There is some really great stuff called PB2. It is peanut butter broken down into powder and doesn't have all the fat. I am addicted to PB so my nut recommended PB2 to add to my shakes. It's delicious! You can get it on Amazon.
  3. Where do you get the True Results or Labrada protein shakes? I can't find any I like.
  4. What about protein shakes or carnation instant breakfast?
  5. Thanks everyone. I did eat lunch before I left just for that reason.i also brought my water. The lollipop was only 60 calories, so I think I made an ok choice.
  6. I am 2 weeks post op and brought my two little sons to the movies. What a challenge. I so wanted the popcorn that my boys had. I know it isn't a great choice but I settled for a lollipop. It took a while to eat and tasted good. Better than what I would have normally have often. What do you bring when you go to the movies?
  7. Yes I am having issues with meeting my calories too! I'm in the puréed week and its tough!
  8. Take boiled chicken, throw it in the food processor add celery, onion, spices, then take 2tbls. Lite mayo and 1/4 cup FF Greek plain yogurt. Mix together to consistency you need or like. Delicious and better than all that mayo! This made my day since I am in the puréed week. Made larger batch to eat tomorrow or 4th of July picnic! Hope you enjoy!
  9. That's what I thought! Thanks!
  10. What exactly is the green zone? Is that when you aren't hungry but you are losing?
  11. Just ordered the fitbit as well. Thanks for the info. I had never heard of it until now.
  12. Agreed ladies. I was banded a week ago tomorrow. I have to drink slowly too. Try and befriend me and we can support each other. If you think or find any good recipes for the puréed and soft foods week, let me know. Thanks.
  13. I too was banded June 24th last week. I had the shoulder pain too but the worst is where the port is sewn in. Super painful. Congrats. One week post op tomorrow. Yay!
  14. I know it is hard but you can do it. Follow the plan. You don't want to fall off the bandwagon.
  15. Thank you forthe info. Which flavors do you like the best? I don't like the gritty flavor in some of the protein shakes.
  16. My friends who have had lap band surgery told me DON'T get on the scale. I know that is hard but they are right. Let your body heal! Where do you get the Isopure protein drinks?
  17. I am still having lots of gas pain too. Gothic of a lot of as this morning but it came back late in the afternoon. Everything I read says 4-6days of the gas pain. It's brutal!

  19. Congrats Rebecca! I am set for Tuesday June 25th. I am nervous but trying to stay busy and keep my mind off of it. They told me I could eat dinner but nothing after 12 midnight. I was surprised. I think I am going to eat a light dinner. Worried about the nausea though. Now that read about the sneezing I am worried about my cough. I have had bad allergies with a cough for a week and not looking forward to that pain. Keep up the good work!
  20. I am set for Tuesday, June 25th. I too am nervous but ready! Good luck!
