    Not losing? Banded on 7/26/13

I know how you feel. I was banded on July 3rd and as of today only lost 11 pounds. I do not eat much and although I don't get to exercise as much as I want to due to work and working long stretches I try to get some in at work such as taking stairs and walking a lot. but the scale is not moving as much. I heard that sometimes It takes a few fills to get things moving and I have only had one fill and I am at 3.5cc. So I just keep moving along and thankful that I am not gaining.

    ugh frustrated

I read that a lot of people feel tight in the morning. I don't feel that I had my band on the 2nd of July and got my first fill August 12th. 3.5 cc is in my band right now. I feel like I can eat more food then I am suppose to and it takes forever to get full. and when I do get full it just sneaks up on me and it hurts. kind of like a relux attack. It is starting to make me think that my band slipped. Just really frustrated

Thanks Missy that link does help me understand what I am doing wrong. and yes I do think sometimes I eat to fast. I feel so much like a loser. since I did so well in since my surgery except a week after my first fill it seems I make all the wrong choices and I do not understand where my mind is at considering I want this really bad and have no idea why I am going the wrong way instead of the right way. (if that makes since)

    pain

I had the lap band done on the 2nd of July. Everything was going great until last night. I have a very painful pressure in my naval area and seem to get worse when I bend over or make sudden movement. debating on weather or not I should go to the ER. Anyone else experience this?

    help!

I was banded on the 2nd of July. Everything went great, but I am having some pain on the left side. I don't think it is gas. I seem to pass that just fine. and I am confused it seems everyone is on liquids and protein shakes. I can have those but my doctor also said I may have creamy soups like cream of chicken or tomato.

    help!

Yes the port is on the left side. I have been doing as the dr said. sad part is I really don't want anything at all. I am just not hungry at all but do my shakes and things just because I know I should have something.

    new here

Hello my name is Shelly, I have been lurking on these boards for over a week now. I have my surgery date July 2nd. I have struggled since I was 17 with my weight. I have tried every diet known to man kind. with no weight loss and if there was any it was gained back with a more lbs added. I have been trying to get this surgery for years. But B/C B/S of Kansas does not cover any weight loss surgery. I finally got on the insurance at work and they do cover it. I am so happy to have my surgery date but yet very nervous about it as well. These forums have been helping me answer my concerns.
