I ate mushy food until about the 4th week then started adding a little bit more solid food between 4-6 weeks post surgery. The only trouble I have really had has been my fault because I ate to quickly and didn't chew, chew, and chew some more!
I didn't start bruising and itching until a month ago. I had blood tests and the nurse practitioner said everything was fine. The bruising doesn't hurt it just looks horrible. The itching only occurs at night which drives me a little crazy. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow for a fill. I will try to get some more information and let everyone know.
I was banded on 3-18-2014 and have lost 35 lbs. I feel terrific with little to no problems to speak of. I am curious though if anyone has experience bruising on thighs and calfs. I am also having severe itching on legs.

I was banded on 03.18.2014 and have lost 30 lbs. I've had one fill and seem to be slowing down on weight loss. I'm also getting hungry. Any thoughts from the recent banders? Stephanie in Indiana
Don't be too hard on yourself. You have done great so far. It will be two months since my lap band surgery. I have lost 27 lbs which doesn't seem like a lot but I'm feeling 100% better. Even only after two months I've been a little bored about my meal planning. I need Breakfast ideas!!!
Lipton has a peach green ice-tea (no calorie) where I live. Arby's also carries it. It really quenches my thirst.
