I have had 2 fills so far. I am going for my first non flouro fill in 2 weeks. Has anyone done this? im kinda scared. But this is only 100.00 versus at the flouro place 150 to the Dr and 200 to the flouro peple. tell me whadda ya think?

Call Dr Richard Benavides he is in the Dallas/GrandPrairie area I know he does them under flouro for a fact. He has done 2 of mine. I have the number but it is at home (i am at work) i will give it to you if you would like.

This is kinda off the subject...but my grandparents live in Idabell. I thought no one else in the work lived there! LOL.

LOL, Im not sure what is going on. When I touch my side it feels like the port is turned on its side......strange.

I think my port may have tilted some, or flipped........... during a wild escapade last night! If this has happened would it hurt? i have no pain but it feels funny when I touch it.

The afternoon after my surgery all they allowed me to have was gum and i swallowed it! the nurse said to let her know if I had any trouble. I never did. I think you will be just fine.

i changed my last post to say dallas, i was CONFUSED. I have a friend in Dallas that would be very convenient...a FREE place to stay! lol.

me too, Dallas is about 2 hours away from where i live, so it could be a day trip or whatever. i also have a banded friend here that may want to come. just let me know more details as they come up. Is it a 3 day convention or a support meeting?

My experience with pb'ing has been much like teresa's. Not chewing enough. I have been banded for almost 9 months and still have not learned to chew "correctly".

What does pb stand for?

Mine was 3 at the time of my surgery, but i did not pick him up for 6 weeks. he did snuggle with me. A few times I had a problem with him jumping on my tummy, OUCH!

Im above average, I have a few TRICKS under my belt! LOL. Who knew??????

We just went to the beach here in Texas last weekend. We had a blast, But my son got big blisters on his little cheeks! don;t forget sunscreen on the FACE! BAD MOM! You will have a great time!

I have read that you are not supposed to eat corn or carrots or drink from a straw with the band! Is this true????? Corn is about the only vegetable that I like!!!

My 4 yo son said " Mom, I wish I could be fat like you so that all of the kids can jump on me. That would be fun!" He also loves fat people.

I'm New here, but I know no one that has been banded, so it would be fun for me! You can count me in!
