Today I am starting to drink water all day for the first time, before id get like maybe 8 oz a day. after all of the "water talk" i am doing it. i have had 5 - 20 oz bottles so far today. can one get too much water? and i swear i have peed 15 times so far. im sure my co workers are getting annoyed!

I always have lots of gas.

Well i had the fill yesterday. everything went ok. he had me stand up with the needle in and swallow the applesauce. it went down in 6 seconds before the fill and 12 after. i don;t feel anymore restriction this morning than i did before but hopefully it will sneak up on me! I only had 1 cc. he put me at 1.5

That is enlightening, never thought of it that way. I was wondering why they said this 1 week before my surgery, my liver could not have shrunk that much in a week.

My dr said the pre surgery diet was so that you would lose some of the fat around your liver so that they can manuever better during surgery.

I am going for my fill today, i hope he does not think im crazy coming in there with apple sauce.....

I had the surgery on a thursday and he ok'd me to go back that next monday, but i waited until wednesday.

iluvharleys, I see Dr benavides that has an office in Grand Prarie close to Dallas and I love him. He is very nice, experienced and knowlegable. He travels to college station/bryan about every six weeks and has a clinic here also. At the time i had my surgery he charged 15,000 for surgery and that included f/u care and fills for the 1st year. I was banded in October 2003. I had to stay one night in the hospital. He still wants me to do the protien shakes, but I do not do them as much as I should. I am going to have a fill with his partner Dr Garwood today in College Station. This will be my 3rd fill. He put in .4 at first then the second time 1.1 for a total of 1.5. I am hoping he will give me a whole 1 today. we will see.

I tried this too, going on what i have done since being married....normal...thats it plain ole normal.

I see Dr benavides also. He comes to a clinc here in College Station/Bryan. I did not like the staff in Richardson but the people here are great. Did you buy the protien drink from the office? i bought the vanilla and put about 2 tsp of sugar free jello pudding (the powder) in it and made it like instant pudding it was better than plain.

Count me in also....id wear it.

My fill has been changed to the 11th, 2 more days....ill let yall know how it goes!
