I start my pre op liver shrinking diet in the morning!!! I can't believe I will be having surgery in 14 days!! I stayed positive but not overly hopeful. I thought something would happen to de-rail my process!! Woohoooo I'm so ready for the diet no matter how hungry I get!!

I'm so ready for my surgery on July 15th!! I am usually one who sticks to my plans and follow things through to the end, but I am so relieved that my parents assisted me in paying for my pre op classes. Getting cold feet and running away is a lot less likely knowing how much my parents have done for me to make this all happen! I actually cannot wait to start my pre op diet on Monday! Not looking forward to my yucky pre made and packaged "dinner" entrées but I will make do or go with out!! So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get sleeved in 31 days!! It seems so far yet so close at the same time!! As the days tick closer I'm second guessing my choices at every turn. But then I immediately remind myself of the reasons why I want this. I've NEVER been so indecisive about anything in my whole life! Blah!! How do I shake this feeling off??

This is my problem! I just need something to do with my hands when I'm driving or being impatient! I need to look into one of these. I threw my actual cigarettes away and bought an ecig then I gave that up.. I don't need or crave the nicotine but my hands get fidgety! Thanks for the info

They drug test you. Some places.. Like my drs office drug test you no matter what. I was surprised though. The urine sample I had to give wasn't as strict as other drug tests I've had to take for employment. I figured it would be just as strict (accompanied by a nurse, water shut off, and no personal belongings with you.... ) heck I took my son, stroller and giant diaper bag with me. I could have smuggled all sorts of stuff in with me. Lol

My surgery date is July 15th! I'm getting so nervous and anxious!!

You are spot on. I am a work in progress. I won't deny that I hold a grudge against these two guys, and that its unhealthy. But I was picked on more there then all my years in school. That's messed up. I wouldn't say it's been 3 years of anger.. I'm not really angry as I am disgusted that as much as we are trying to teach children not to bully there are still ignorant adults in this world who should know better. All in all I guess I don't want to "teach them a lesson"... I just to strut my stuff and make them wonder. Lol

Yes. I will be returning as a customer... But I won't spend a penny in that store! I filed a complaint with my union rep and with the store owner but it went know where they are all out to cover each others asses. And as far as my former coworkers.. They are all aware of the behavior. They take turns picking on each and every employee. They do it because they know the workers really need their jobs in this economy and because they know if someone quits because of it that worker is replaceable. And no one complains for fear of losing their job. Even if they did file a complaint ... No one does anything about it. it's been 3 years since I quit i know i will need to have tough skin because they will probably try to take credit for my weight loss so I could easily argue that if they had that big of an impact on my life, I would have lost weight sooner. I just want to embarrass them as much as they do everyone else. Not sure what I will do or say, but I have a year to figure out. I also feel like the owners will take me a little more seriously when I'm not a blob of fat and get those 2 out of there, or get them help and leave the employes alone. I feel bad for my former work friends.

I quit 2 months ago and still have a month till surgery. But my doctor said they test the week before surgery for any street drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. And the day of surgery.... I was like... Good thing I quit smoking and don't do drugs drink...

I am not a "show off" gloating kind of person at all! But I can't wait to walk back into my old job in 1 year and watch my 2 old bosses jaws drop! For 4 and a half years I worked at a small family owned grocery store with 2 of the worst bosses ever! They bullied ridiculed and degraded me daily. Made fat jokes and ordered me to do jobs that literally were physically impossible or Extremely hard on my body. And then punish me for not completing my tasks or having to ask for help. The day I quit my boss and I were in a storage room for back stock. I was organizing products and my boss (store supervisor/manger) starts talking about some song. A country song called "Rockin the beer gut" I knew what he was talking about but I never thought he'd actually say what he said. "So, do you like to drink?.. Is that why your stomachs so big? Rockin a beer gut?" I walked out that day and haven't been back. I now can't wait to get skinny and get all dressed up walk in there and just watch their reactions, and because I'm not employed there anymore I'm going to give them a piece of my mind!

I GOT MY DATE!! JULY 15th WILL BE MY NEW BIRTHDATE!! I'm scared out of my mind and so excited at the same time!

For those of you who suffered hair loss after surgery... How long did it take for the hair to start re-growing? When I stopped breast feeding my son a few months back I lost a LOT of hair. So I'm sure I will have hair loss with this too.
