I have been banded with a 4-cc band since 6/29/04 and have now had 5 fills. The latest was done 8/14/06 and the band is now at 3.3 cc. It is noticably tighter then before which was 3.1cc , but I still am able to work with it. I have never had any problem with the band as long as I followed the rules. Dave T.

I have been banded for 2 years with 3.3cc in 4cc band and doing great i will probably stay at this level as I find that I can live very well with this. I am about 25lb from goal. Dave T.

Hi, The Band Is Sure The Way To Go. I Was Done 06/29/04 At The Age Of 72 And This Has Been The Best Thing That I Have Ever Done. I Have Now Lost 93 Lbs. And Was Done In Port Huron. They Are A Great Bunch Of People And Easy To Work With. Good Luck: Dave T.

I also had my banding done in Port Huron in June 04, and I have been looking for other Michiganders. My Doctor was Bhesania and I am very happy with the total experience.

Hi, new Michigan bander. Good luck on your banding I know that you wil find that it is the best thing you may have ever done. I was banded June 29, 2004 and have had two fills now and will have the third one on Oct, 4th. HI, My doctor had done over 750 banding as of april/04 and was very comfortable with the procedure and was willing to take time and answer any questions. Today I just received notice that BCBS and Medicare paid my total billing. I hope that they will also take care of the fills. My second one is due on Monday 9/20/04. 307/262/185 72 YO

Hi, My doctor did not request a diet before banding, but he said that is advisable. I dieted for two weeks before the procedure. When he came in to see me after he stated that I had made his job a lot easier. banded June 29, 2004 Port Huron Hospita, Mi. 297/252/185l Dave T.

Hi, mich bander I have been looking for a board of michigan banders. I was banded 6/29/04 in Port Huron. Everything is going great and no problems as yet. I had my first fill in August and willhave my second one September 20. So far I have lost 42lbs. and I would like to lose 80 lbs more. My home is in Metamora. Good luck Dave T.
