  1. Hello ladies! I made a username just to respond to this! Kll724: plication is TOTALLY allowed in Florida-- I had it done in broward 3 days ago Just thought I should clarify, there's plenty of research on the short term advantages of plication just not a lot on the long term, because its a fairly new procedure. The surgeon folds your stomach and makes about 3 stitches to create a smaller pouch. I went for it because I could afford to do it and from what I understand it makes the initial stages (aka "bandster hell") quite a bit easier. GOOD LUCK!
