  1. Great I will find it!
  2. Blood sugar 4.9. That's a non-diabetic number, folks!
  3. No I'm going home in the morning so I should be right. I might just ask for an up and go or some milk for brekkie. I have lots of suitable things at home.
  4. You are doing so well, Dean! Your doctor must be happy as well. As for me, I had my first unpleasant side effect. A bout of he runs after dinner. But this too shall pass. I'm a little worried because the Soup had some small bits in it and the custard was thick so I didn't have much of either. The only hing that felt ok was the yogurt. I was dipping the spoon in and licking a tiny bit off at a time. I managed to get about 2/3 of the container down. I don't feel very stuffed but maybe that's because it's liquid.
  5. First meal! I will only be able to have a few tastes. The nurse had to take some things away. Jelly and ice cream.
  6. My blood sugar has dropped from 7.7 to 5.2! It looks like the metformin might already be in my past.
  7. No leaks and I'm in the clear. No more IV, I was able to have a shower, and I will be able to start on full liquids! I had a bit of stomach pain during the leak test but nothing since. Panadol is doing the job. I can swallow capsules no problem. I'm on nexium too.
  8. I just had the leak test. They had to do it twice because the doctor wasn't sure about it. I don't know for sure the results but the X-ray tech said it looked fine to him. I had to drink this clear liquorice flavoured stuff. I've had worse. If the results are good I can get off the IV and try some liquids besides Water.
  9. I hope all went well!

  11. You guys didn't start from the latest list and so removed a lot of people including me.
  12. Same principles. It also speaks of the benefits of using the lesser curvature.
  13. Still doing great. Not even on any pain meds but Tylenol. No nausea.
  14. Hint, it's not just that it holds less food. Interesting stuff! http://gastricbypass.netfirms.com/understandingsmallgastricpouch.htm
  15. Just a few hours until you are sleeved. Good luck and I am sure you will do great!
  16. Still doing fine. Dozing a bit but they won't let me walk yet but I did walk to the loo. In my own night gown now. No pain and I'm only on panadol, an anti nausea med (haven't had any nausea) and nexium
  17. I meant I'm not IRS lol
  18. I'm sleeved! Since I'm in Australia I'm ahead of you guys. No pain. Just resting now. Good luck to you guys!
  19. I'm sleeved! All went well. Just resting. No pain at all now.
  20. I'm sleeved! Just taking it easy. No dramas at all!
  21. I go in in half an hour. I'm thrilled! I saw your post about being scared and I'm sorry you are feeling that way, but you'll be sleeved before you know it and this will all be a distant memory.
  22. Well ladies this is it! Hubby is eating breakfast then we leave for the hospital! See you on the flip side.
  23. I don't actually know. I have to be at the hospital by 7. I will update here as soon as I feel up to it. Just had wicked hiccups which sucked because I'm nil by mouth so can't use my normal remedy. Then I sneezed about 20 times. Wtf!?
  24. I'm May 14 and since I'm in Australia that's just a few hours away! 25. Thanks! I'm all packed and ready to go. Just had my last meal a couple hours ago and my last chug of Water just now. It's all sips from here on out, and nil by mouth until the surgery.
