  1. I really liked the suggestion that I try either of these in order to see how I handle the strict dietary requirements in order to achieve success with the lapband. Can anyone point me in the direction of what the pre op diet consists of and/or what the post op diet consists of? Thanks so much!
  2. Thank you all for the information. I think I'm going to do what someone suggested, and follow the pre op diet or post op diet for a couple of weeks just to see if I can handle the change in my diet without having a mental breakdown. :-)
  3. Looking for information on whether or not the lap band is the right choice for me. I don't want gastric bypass. I am currently 192-195 and 4 feet 11 inches tall. I am in excellent health. What can I expect to lose and what is life like after the band procedure? Lots of questions I know, but I am truly a real newbie where this is concerned. Thank you so much.
