  1. Hello everyone. I thought I would share my experience from the start with everyone. Today is my first day on my liquid diet, and so far so good. I will be banded on May 1st. I woke up hungry, but quickly made my protein shake and was satisfied. I picked out two really good flavors; banana and orange cream. Can't really say I miss food yet. I was going to take my son for a walk, but it is raining so I plan on using the treadmill. My starting weight is 270.
  2. I use to love fish, but my husband cannot stand the smell of it so I can't cook it at the house. That tea sounds good. I love beans and eat those several times a week. I wish I could eat hard boiled eggs, but that doesn't sit well in my stomach. However scrambled eggs are good and even omelettes. Bread no longer sits well in my stomach after my third fill. I haven't been having protein shakes lately. I think I'm going to start drinking protein shakes in the morning since I'm having trouble holding anything else down. Just wanted to say keep up the good work!!!
  3. Wow 63 pounds!!! I'm so inspired!!! I think I'm going to start following your plan to see if that will work for me. What do you usually eat for dinner? When I want desert I usually eat some grilled pineapple with a little light whip cream. I really want to start losing again. I want to go to Disneyland with my son, but not in my 200's.
  4. Sorry I have been crazy busy. I have missed being on this forum and all of you. Well I'm stuck at 236. I just stopped losing. I'm trying, but I must be doing something wrong. Everything has been coming back up a lot lately. I have no idea whats going on. I really can't wait to get in to see this new dr. I'm going to call the dr to make an appt in the morning when I get back from my other dr appt. My husband bought me a punching bag now I'm just waiting for him to get me the stand to hang it. I think I hurt my knee because I have been in pain and limping around. That is so awesome that you finally got your fill. So did you notice any difference? Not that you really needed it, your doing so good on your own. I love all the tips I get from you. Your like a lapband book of information
  5. Sorry I haven't been updating. I have been so busy with moving. I had my 2nd fill on July 11th. I did feel more full, but not really restricted. My doctor had me come back in on the July 18th and asked me if I wanted another fill and I said you know it. So I got my third fill and now I have 5 1/2 cc in my band. This last fill has kicked my butt. I definitely feel restricted. My stomach is sore this time, I think it's from having a fill just a week after I already had one. It feels real tight and I can definitely can feel the band now. I have already had two episodes of everything coming back up. I think it's just happening when I eat meat. I'm trying to eat softer foods. It is very painful when everything is coming back up or wanting to come up, I feel like I can't breath, like vomiting, and like I'm having a heart attack because my chest hurts. I'm really not eating or drinking much now days. When I do eat I chew chew chew and eat real slow and it seems to help. I cannot drink water fast anymore or a lot at a time. This fill has made me feel a big change. It's kinda a pain while moving, but glad I finally feel restriction. I will figure out the whole eating and drinking as I move forward in my journey.
