  1. I am addicted to my fitness pal and just ordered the new Fitbit and Aria scale. I've lost almost 24 pounds since my pre-op diet but I was banded a month ago. I was told the slower the loss, the less excess skin I will have. They also told me it's better to lose 1-2 pounds per week. So I will be happy to do that once I start loosing again. I've plateaued.
  2. I go for mine in two weeks and am kinda nervous congrats and best of luck on the journey
  3. Honestly I would love to just drop even a pound a week. To not see any movement in five weeks is just baffling. I know if I wasn't watching my calories and working out, I would surely be gaining. Maybe in a few weeks I will see a change. Will watch the video after work. Thank you everyone for your support!
  4. Don't hate, but I get on my scale daily.
  5. I love that the Dublin donuts lady noticed lol. Too funny! That's great motivation. Keep going!
  6. I've heard this up my calories thing from a few people! I may try this and see. I remember back in Weight watchers they would always say people weren't eating enough. I never believed them. Will try it! My doctor said I could walk, so I'm spending an hour on the treadmill. Hope that's ok. i walk slow but uphill. No lifting!
  7. Ha ha break a nail! Too funny! It's just frustrating because people and family members will ask how much I've lost, nothing! Also I fear the doctors office. They will think I am not following a diet :/ they won't notice my clothes fit better lol.
  8. Oh I didn't mean to say you were thinking of cheating or that you strayed from the liquids.! I just know that's how I felt and it was a very difficult two weeks for me anyway. I was starving. You're doing great! Keep it up
  9. Thank you! I refuse to give up, but wonder if this has happened to anyone else out there. I've never been this "good" before :/
  10. Hang in there! This was impossible for me too and i somehow got through it and you will too. I did cheat and make a milky scrambled egg three times totally against my nutritionists advice try to stick to it.
  11. I am totally stumped. I was banded over a month ago and haven't been able to lose an ounce since my initial 6 pound post op loss. I am religiously logging my foods into My Fitness Pal and range between 700-1100 calories per day (rarely over 1000). I am kicking butt at the gym- 5 days a week now and I don't leave until I burn a minimum of 400 calories per day. What am I doing wrong? I'm drinking lots of water. My clothes fit better and people are telling me I look like I'm losing but no scale in the world will prove it to me I hope this wasn't a mistake. my first fill is on two weeks.
