  1. Jurema I will see you and Doddie tonite at TLBC for our seminar. Can't wait to meet you.
  2. I think the fear is pretty normal. I'm the type of person that once I put my mind to something LOOK OUT! My surgery is this Thursday and I wish I could just wake up and it would be over. I can't wait. Good luck and trust me you are in good hands on this website. Sheilamj1fan -- you are doing incredibly fantastic with you weight loss!!
  3. Sorry Lesley Lee. I know only to well how it feels to lose someone too young. You can only be grateful that you knew him and treasure his memories. My thoughts are with you.
  4. Hi Susansilver I have about 3 yoghurts (115 gm each) for Breakfast and maybe 4 or 5 for dinner. I have still lost 8.5 lbs. I even have a little j e l l o in there as well. I am a hungry girl!!!!
  5. That is truly an inspiration for me Green. You have done extremely well. Do you weigh yourself now or just go by how you feel in your clothes?
  6. Cat Now you tell us. I was told only in desperation could we have a little bit of chicken. Are you going to the tlbc tonight for the seminar?
  7. Mandi - when I was checking out yoghurts a while back (another diet) I found that Silouette was the lowest in all categories and it tastes great. Astro makes a Zero one as well. Just get the one that is on sale. Best of luck.
  8. Had a rough go this weekend with the pre-op diet. Had some popcorn mmmmmmm, and a little piece of chicken breast. I must try harder, I must try harder....these are my last four days until surgery....I think I am happy because I will be finished this pre-op diet but then I go on the post-op. Can you ever actually win at this game?
  9. You are kicking some pretty big ass man!!!! You have lost almost 50lbs and it isn't even one month. Way to go baby............
  10. You are in good hands here Mandi. The tlbc pre-op has been great for me too. I only eat yoghurt and jello. I hate cottage cheese but if you like it at least you can have variety. If you are going to the gym daily, you need your protien. Eggbeaters are good for that as well as chicken breast. I have found things to be a little loose down there while on this diet...if you know what I mean.....
  11. Mandi - I think your plateau is just like when we do a regular diet (old days) when you get down to the nitty gritty last 20 or so pounds it goes much slower. I think we all know how hard that is on the motivation. Maybe try a little different workout. Change up any usual routine for a bit. Even long walks. Was is you that said was expecting snow? I am in Toronto and we are in for one beeeeautiful weekend. Good luck and if you look back you'll see that you shouldn't be so hard on yourself you really have done a fantastic job.
  12. When do you go for the seminar? I will be there Monday, April 23 at 6pm
  13. Argon - Why do you suggest the gravol suppositories?
  14. Hi Doddie63, I will be at that seminar as well. I look forward to putting a face to a name.
  15. I knew that I was booking surgery (I booked before my consult) and it happened to be a Friday. Dr. Yau was there and I met him after speaking to Nesrene - the consultant - no longer there - I agree with Susan Silver he does look 15. He was very comfortable with any questions I asked and said he wanted us to visit the clinic anytime as he valued his clients and said the waiting room is a great place to gather info and converse with other lapsters.
  16. Keep an eye on that hula girl of yours.....At the rate your going she is going to slip right outa her skirt. Fabulous job my man!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  17. Am I so stupid to think that we actually STILL have to diet after the band. Yeah, yeah I know about making good choices, no grazing but holy sh*#, when you can only eat 3/4 of a cup what the hell!!!!!
  18. What does BAU mean?
  19. Ditto from Donna D
  20. Congrats Swan - keep up the great job!!
  21. Here is my theory.................. First Jaffe leaves, now Nesrene....could there be a new clinic in the works.???????....
  22. Hi Mandi My vote is for the second. I think once you have your hair done and makeup it will be a classy look. I think the red thing on the first dress may look best snipped but It looks like its sewn into the back. I suggest a loose bow in the back. It shouldn't be a focal point. YOU ARE. Otherwise the first dress looks good too. Sorry it isn't much help, but you are just too cute.
  23. Nesrene told me that she is an interior decorator. She also said she more often than not worked 10 to 12 hour days at the clinic..That can be exhausting to say the least. I really liked her. Today someone called Darryl called me and went over my forms regarding allergies, surgeries etc, I actually asked her why since I went over that stuff with Nesrene when I was there. She said she was supposed to call.
  24. I am so technology impaired, I haven't noticed anything yet.
