  1. Good for you! I'm always adjusting my husbands so it's not whistling air. You must free so free. :clap2:
  2. I've been off the boards for awhile, and now trying to get refocused. Since I couldn't turn to food anymore, slowly I ended up turning to the bottle. I haven't had a drink in 10 days now. But I was drinking everyday, and it was turning into a problem. Am I alone in this? or has anyone else fallen down this road?
  3. Dr.Cobourn is the best...everyone loves him. He is so genuine and caring! It's money well spent. :biggrin1:
  4. Good for you peaches! :clap2: I remember when that was me. I was on wellbrutin that can't be crushed, and stopped taking it. Still was taking another med though....alot of us have been there, you are for sure not alone. After, when I could swollow pills, was starting to feel better about myself and stayed off the one. Still on the other..but I blame my mother for that..hahah...kinda kidding.
  5. Okay..so I had two months of not losing...well now I'm back on track and finally reached the 50lb lost mark! Now I get to start counting down again. " I might take a little longer, but I'll get there"
  6. Good for you! What better to invest in than yourself! I'm almost six months post-op with Cobourn, and I've lost 48 lbs! The time goes by quickly whether you are doing something about your weight or not; so you might as well start enjoying them to the fullest. I have lots of years ahead of me to pay off my line of credit for my surgery, but that's okay because I'm finally living.
  7. I was a huge diet pepsi freak! Your tastes will change..it has lost all appeal to me now. The only problem is...what do I mix my rye with now?
  8. I'd love to tell you how great Dr.Cobourn is...but then it might make it harder for me to get appointments in to see him.
  9. Thank you for your post:clap2: ...I was just coming on here to write a post like this. I know ice cream and chocolate are so bad for me, but I can't seem to stop having them when I know they don't make me sick. On the other hand, give me a piece of broccoli and chicken, and I think I'm going to die. There are times I'm so sick I have to make myself throw up. I'm scared of getting a slight unfill, because I don't want to go back to the land of no restriction again. Glad to hear I'm not in the bad boat of junk food by myself!
