  17. Hi cullychick No im on the 11th. I replied late last night. I spoke with Dr. office today n except for very extreme cases, they dont require you to do any pre-op diet except for night before surgery. Sounds good to me! She said get small bottle of adult gummy or chewable vitamins an a chewy calcium vitamin. Bought a crapload of sugarfree jello/pudding, fat free broth, some small containers, baby spoons, an borrowed a heating pad from my sis in law. Think I got it covered? I feel like a doomsday prepper!!
  18. 11 days to go an getting nervous!!
  19. Hi vacationgirl1. Im doing LB on 3/11 an am type II as well. I see surgeon for last pre-op app. on 3/5. Ive been told I will stop ALL meds day of surgery then give myself time to heal. My endocrinologist will then have to make med/insulin dose changes as needed. My true goal is to reduce weight enough to get off insulin. Im 6'4 285 an hoping to lose 50-60 lbs.(hopefully). Keep in close contact with your dr. every step of the way. You'll do fine!!

  23. Hi kll724. Congrats bigtime on your success. Getting off a few meds would be great news let alone all of them. My goal to lose 50-60lbs is to get off insulin first an hopefully oral meds to follow. take care:)
