  1. Hi: Banded in March 07. Weight at first consultation 312. Weight now 270. 6 foot 3 inches. Feel great. Going in for the first fill Monday. Have experienced less restriction over the past several weeks and hope the fill helps. Now for my question. I have just recently started losing gobs of hair. I am eating in excess of 100 grams of protein daily. What is causing this and has it happened to others and if so what can be done about it.
  2. As far as the pre op diet or regiment this is up to your Dr. They are all different. I started playing golf 2 weeks post-op with no problems
  3. My stomach is still slightly swollen almost 2 weeks after the surgery. It goes down a little every day
  4. I had the same problem. Did not go for the first 4 days and was seriously constipated. When I finally went it was like having twins. Very rough. I would start taking benefiber and stay on it for the next week or so. john l
  5. I also was banded 3/19 and am on an optifast diet for 3 weeks. From reading the posts I think it is totally up to your doc and they are all different. I am having a hard time getting 4 optifast items down a day. I simply am not hungry. John L.
  6. Banded March 19 2007. Been lurking on the forum for the past couple weeks. THank you all for the good advice. Think I am doing OK. Had a real hard time staying on the optifast diet prior to the surgery and now cant come close to drinking 5 optifast shakes. Every day a little better. Am looking forward to the gas leaving me. Also wonder if I will ever be hungry again.
