I am going through True Results Houston for the Sleeve and wanted to know if anyone has brought in their own Supervised nutrition visits from their Primary Care physician, instead of using True Results in house NUT and was approved through BCBS? I am trying to get around waiting the 6 months since I have had so many failed weight loss attempts.
@capiccirillo
Are you going through True Results? I am hoping to have my surgery in November also. What insurance do you have? This month is my second weigh-loss supervised visit. I have already scheduled my Psy eval......sleep study is already done.
I plan on taking no more than 2 weeks even though the doctor says I should be a go return after 1 week. Should I tell my boss or just let him know I am having a medical procedure and need to tame some. I just don't want my procedure to be the talk of the office.
This month is my 2 appointment and I also am schedule for my psy eval. I know the time will pass fast and it will prepare me mentally for it. I just hope the approval comes back in time for scheduling, considering it will be right around the holidays. also, these appointments and series of things I need to get done to get approved, will help me get closer to meeting my deductible.
I was told I have to do 6 months of weight loss consultations, along with a few others test to get approved for the surgery. My BMI is under 40. I am going through True results Houston. Anyone have the something different told to them?
This month will be my 4 supervised diet appointment. So far it is going good. I am scheduled for my psychological evaluation this month and my pre op for the EGD. Trust me the time goes fast.
