I was banded onthe 28th and it all went well for me.I'm a bit sore and very hungry. OMG I so much starving and wanting to eat.I have been drinking my liquids and meds as per doctor. My stomach is hurting but I know that this is temp... The only complaint I have is the headaches, they are so bad. I am trying to keep very positive. I see the Doctor tomorrow for my first visit since surgery. What to expect. I know it's a process of healing. Your support here in has been amazing. Thank you all for posting all this wonderful information. I'm very sure that you all will be a hugh help / support to me during my new journey.

I want to start of with an appoligize to all 2012 & 2013 Banders if I may have placed my story in the wrong area. I meant no confusion for anyone. I thought the one that I placed my information on was the acual year 2013. I only wish all the very best, I also thank you all for the support that this site has allowed me to learn. I too am on my liquid diet..Day 4 for me..this weekend was not good..i ate real food but I jump right back on this morning..i have lost 4 pounds and that alone help me know that I need to continue my path of weightloss.. Best of luck too you..I too have surgery on the 28th . Keep in touch..

I was approved and my surgery date is scheduled for February 28th.. This is also my Birthday@@.. A new life style for me.. I'm excited and yet a bit scared but I have all the support on this site to help me overcome the fear.. I will start my liquid diet on the 14th and my pre-opt appointment is set for the 21st. best of luck to all the new bandsters and look forward to your support. thanks

February 28 is my surgery date.. I'm excited but yet a bit scared. It's also my Birthday on the same day!! what a way to start a new life!! I'm looking forward to the BIG DATE.. I go for my Pre-Op at the hospital on the 21st.. I look forward to all your support and thank you all for posting your experience as this alone is very helpful. I'm very excited and yet just wanting to have all the information needed to be able to all the right things. I'm so very happy. On the 14th i ill start my 2 week liquid diet and then i beleive that the 28th is the BIg day! i'm new to this site and I'm very appreciative to all your support. I will be posting pictures asap!
