It's a protein powder lol. I havent had surgery yet so I haven't received the pre op diet instructions but I'm just curious as to how much protein we should look for in shakes etc.

Has anyone heard of it???

Haha. I took a pregnancy test at my doc appt and it was neg, Thank GOD! I don't mind gross, I just want it to come already so I can be at ease lol.

Signed all the paperwork....I did my ekg and pre op blood work.. then I'll get my date hopefully tomorrow

I know a lot of people on here dread their period but honestly, I can't wait to get mine! I have yet to have surgery and I'm 2 weeks late and everyday I'm praying today is the day lol. Ugh!!!

Hey! I live in wonderful Austin TX as well. I just got my approval, going through Southwest Bariatrics with Dr. Marquez, I don't know my date yet, I'm super excited though!

I can't wait to not have to hear another back handed compliment like; "you have such a pretty face." Or "you would be one of the prettiest girls if you would just lose weight.".. I also can't wait to not have to: *hide behind my daughter in pictures. *go through the drive-thru since I'm afraid people look at me and judge *dread going to family gatherings since my weight is always one of the main topics. *be afraid to go on roller coasters *hate shopping *run out of breath going up the stairs.

I was in a pretty bad car accident memorial night. I have a huge ugly painful bruise across my pelvis area from the seatbelt... I was suppose to start my period around that time...I still haven't started. My question is; do you think the accident could have thrown off my cycle? ? I took a pregnancy test and its negative...obviously I'm going to the doctor about this, just figured I'd ask on here too. Thanks ladies!

I just called bcbs fed and... i met all requirements and that I'm APPROVED! They submitted the paper work 5/28 and it was approved 5/29 now I just gotta wait until they send the official letter! God is good!

I have a 4 yr old daughter, God forbid anything happens but if something does I wouldn't want her dad to have full custody of her since he lives out of state due to being in the military. I want my mother to have joint custody. He says he wouldn't keep my family from seeing her but I know how he is and he wouldn't go out of his way to make sure they're in her life.

Yes!!! I have a 4 yr old and her grandpa on her dads side (her dad is stationed in Colorado) offered to take her for 2 weeks while I recover. I loveeee my daughter but she loves jumping on me like I'm a jungle gym lol
