  1. Crystal, Happy Birthday! Your gift is coming, just a few days late (your band!)
  2. Alex, is it possible that LBT can be indexed as a forum, but not our profiles and posts? I don't have a problem w/someone reading my posts or profile if they've gone to the trouble of logging into LBT.
  3. Mr. Alex, board owner, is going to post this issue in the forums and see what all users have to say about this. Please respond to his thread after it is posted so he can get your feed back.

  5. It would just be helpful if our individual profiles and posts didn't have to come up on a google search. The internet is a great thing and opens up a whole world for us. I look up addresses, phone #s, and maps, live traffic reports, etc. all the time. In a big city like Houston, it's a wonderful aid.
  6. Happy Birthday, sweet, beautiful lady!! Hope you get just what you wanted for your birthday.
  7. Now that's one of the very best NSVs!!!!!
  8. I've pm'd Mr. Alex, LBT board owner, to see if anything can be done to prevent this. I'll let you know what he advises.

  10. Those are wonderful NSVs! Did you feel like you were trespassing when you went into the regular sizes?
  11. Crystal, I realise that. If someone wants to take the trouble to come to LBT and read the posts, that's fine.
  12. I agree 100%!!! There's 31,000,000 results for mine so it'll take some digging. But regardless, we come here for support and security. What made you think to google your screen name?
  13. Brenda, how are you feeling now? Are you starting to get your strength back a little bit? Hope the pain and sinus drainage is letting up. Did you stay overnight at the hospital w/this revision surgery? Take care.
  14. Ryan, we know you're very busy taking care of everything. Hope things are getting smoother. When you have a few moments, please drop us a quick 'hi". (((Hugs))) to you and Patty.
  15. I bumped a food lists suggestions thread for you.
  16. It may take a few weeks for this to kick in. I think you'd need to wait a bit longer than 2 days to get another fill.
  17. Are you on a clear or full liquid diet? I haven't heard of anyone blending foods to liquids. Have you tried a search (at top of the page) on here for suggestions? Are you banded or does your dr. have you doing this as a pre-op? Best of luck to you!
  18. Lauren, you really need to try and follow your surgeon's post-op rules. It's important so that band anchors securely and you avoid future problems. But you're not a failure! My surgeon advised that once I got to mushies, I could blend regular foods very well before eating. This really helped because I could eat whatever the family was having.

Lisa, I'm certainly not a med. professional. But a lot of meds. are affected by weight/hormone changes.
  20. I have merged "Light Has Been Shed" with this thread to avoid duplication.
  21. I've merged "Fills In Dallas After Surgery Elsewhere" w/this thread as they're asking the same ??. The important thing is to contact your fill doctor before you are banded and be sure that he/she will accept you. Find out now so you won't be frantically looking for someone to treat you after you're banded. Best of luck to you!

I personally don't enjoy carbonated drinks since banding. The bubbles are very uncomfortable. It's believed carbonated drinks can cause band erosion. I just don't feel they're worth taking the risk of losing my band. If you're really serious about banding, you may want to start weaning yourself off of the cokes now. Get those withdrawal headaches out of the way. It is doable.
