I just had my surgery yesterday and today will be my first day sipping on clean liquids along with taking nibs of jello. I'm scared on how my stomach is going to react. Any suggestion on how to handle my first sips and bites?

You're gonna do fine! Just make sure to walk as much as you can't and ask for pain medication when necessary since they have certain time frames for it.

I'm feeling great and I can't wait to shed some pounds. Not going to lie, 3 hours post op I was very nauseous and my chest felt like it was going to explode. When the pain meds kicked in, it was all gravy baby!

I'm out! Feeling great! At first my chest hurt due to the gas but with pain meds I'm good! Nurses are nice and friendly

It's been I've 8 hours since I got it done n I feel great! A lil weak but other than that I'm good!

Anxiously awaiting my surgery. I'm set to arrive at the hospital at 7 am. I'm afraid of not waking up fom surgery, is this normal?

So today I registered for my Thursday surgery! I'm excited, nervous, and a little bit of every emotion left! I spoke to the batriatic RN and anesthesiologist today so I was put a little bit more at ease. Any tips, suggestions? What should I take for my overnight stay? Any tips overall are appreciated!
