  1. Powdered Peanut Butter? Where do u buy this?
  2. How are all the March 18th bandsters doing? I am down 30 pounds since my initial consult but only 10 of that has been post band. I had a post surgery complication and ended up in the hospital but I'm fine now thank God. I had my first fill today. Looking forward to getting back to losing.
  3. Any one experience lower leg pain post op? If so how long did it last? I had it in the calves of both my legs. The pain in the right leg has gone away. I still have it in my left leg though. I'm 5 days post op.
  4. I'm day 2 post op still feeling port pain but that is the most discomfort. What I need to know is has any one else had trouble trying to get down 64 ounces of fluid. I barely got down 5 ounces today. I'm not hungry and its hard, I feel full.
  5. Well I understand what you are saying you ha e to do what's best for you. I do have insurance that covers everything for me. Let me share why I went with the band over the sleeve. The sleeve only guarantees that you will lose half of your excess weight I have a friend who had the sleeve don't get me wrong she Looks better than she ever has. She only lost 60 lbs though and hit a plateau. She still has weight she wants to lose and she's back doing every diet under the sun to lose the remaining 50 pounds she wants to lose and it's been 3 years. She's done weight watchers, Atkins, now she's taking Alli. She even gained over the holidays and now shes trying to lose 10 additional pounds. A church member I know got the band and she lost 150 pounds in 2 years. She started at 280 now weighs130 and looks amazing! She said when she stopped losing she would just get an adjustment and it only took her 3 adjustments to get there. For me I figure if I'm going to go through surgery and all this to have a tool to help me. I want it to help me. I don't want to do that and end right back on the diet roller coaster to get the remaining weight off. I wish you the best no matter what your decision!
  6. I was banded today and finding this to be true!
  7. I am feeling good considering. I have some mild shoulder pain, and pain at the port site. I'm about to take some pain medicine before i go to bed. Everything went so smoothly. Anxious to hear how everyone else journey went. We are banded together now. :-)

  13. Overall, I'm doing good. I have to drink something every 2 hours. I'm experiencing more head hunger than anything. I just want to eat food. Today what helped was getting on YouTube and watching this ladies successful journey. She went from 290lb to 145lbs and looks amazing!
