  1. I felt exhausted for about four days when I started my pre-op diet. Then bounced back a bit until I had my surgery. Be sure to keep hydrated! My doctor wanted me working up to a gallon of calorie free liquids (crystal light was okay) during my pre op as well. Keep your eye on the prize!
  2. Remember that you won't be on full liquids immediately following surgery. In fact, I was on clear liquids for two weeks post surgery. Take your time introducing new foods as your new stomach needs time to heal. I am 3.5 weeks out and still on a full liquid diet. But... am already 44lbs. down. Good luck on your surgery day! Walk, walk, walk!
  3. Thank you for your replies. Only two more days til my surgery and im so excited! I've lost 25 lbs so far on the protein shakes alone!
  4. Hi all! Im in Tampa, FL as well and am being banded next Friday, 1/11! Im a little nervous, but A LOT excited! My doctor is Rehnke and my surgery is being performed at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg. Could anyone who has already been banded give me an idea of what to expect upon arrival at the hospital? And more importantly what to expecr upon waking up from surgery? I am an excellent motivator and would LOVE to buddy up with someone who is the same.
  5. Please send the egg timer doc to me too, Tom? brooksie 26@hotmail.com Thank you!
