  4. I realized this morning that none of my belts fit me anymore. They're all too big! I use to struggle getting into the very last notch, and now the same belts can't keep my pants up. Amazing feeling.

  8. I was wondering the exact same thing. Besides the first 2 days it's been a complete breeze. I was able to drink all my fluids almost immediately. No pain meds. No GERD. I had surgery on a Monday morning and I was back at work that same Thursday even though I could have taken 2 weeks. I'm a month out and I'm eating solids right on schedule where as some people in my surgery group can't get past soups, apple sauce, etc. I also wonder if it helps that having the band had already trained me to eat slowly and chew everything to powder so I haven't had any issues with sliming or anything like that.
  9. I just got banded on Friday and for me there was no way that I could have gone back Monday just from the fact I was still taking the pain meds for the incision pain. Today was probably the first day I could have gone back if I was really pressed to, but I was lucky enough to take a week off with no problems. I think it's better to take the extra couple days and feel as good as you can before going back.
  10. Hey everyone. I'm also two days post op and have been having a lot of gas pain. I've been drinking water, walking around, and of course taking Gas-x. It helps, but I'm still in pain. I see that people keep mentioning heating pads, and this may sound stupid, but where would I put the heating pad to help with the gas? Thanks!
