  1. No I've just started clear liquids today. Yesterday i stayed in the hospital and I received Pepcid today an yesterday for acid.
  2. I have been belching today and when I do i feel like it might be acid reflux or something. Did anyone else experience this?
  3. My port I believe is right under my left boob. I have 7 incisions because I got lap-band with plication. I'm still in a lot of pain and I've been taking a few shallow breaths. I do constant walking and small sips of Gatorade as per my doctor. My mom was nice enough to give me a message which elevated some of the pain in my neck. I'm tired but today was better than yesterday and I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
  4. I feel like crap was banded and sleeve plication yesterday I'm still I'm hospital. Everyday is getting better still ok with my decision
  5. Today is my day. I'm on my way to the hospital now! So nervous but so happy and appreciative to have this opportunity to better my life.
  6. Good afternoon all today is day 5 of my pre op diet and I'm doing much better. Headaches are gone and I've gotten a bit more energy. I also feel satisfied when I eat which I never thought would happen. It's amazing.
  7. Make sure you stay hydrated try chewing I've chips and I'm on whey protein shakes. Just try to get your protein in. Don't wanna be malnourished.
  8. This pre-op diet is making me go to the bathroom a lot not to be gross. Anyone else experience this?
  9. It's hard this diet I cheated my first day. Today is day 3 and I felt like I was going to throw up and I had a headache. I want a cheeseburger so bad but I willed myself to stay in the house and not eat.
  10. That I have to get a catheter I have to stay the night. Possibly I'm nervous because now I know it's real and coming up soon.
  11. So today I had my seminar with the RN and she scared me half to death. I'm now even more nervous than I already was. My surgery date is 1/24. Idk what I'm going to do.
  12. I've been in the process for almost a year. If you want it bad enough these 6 months will fly just stay on top of you're paperwork and doctors appointments. You can do it! Good luck

  14. If you're insurance is anything like mine you don't have to lose weight I fluctuated. Just make all your appointments.

  16. My goal is to be able to go out and not have to think about fitting in a chair or having to ever hear again that I'm pretty for a big girl. I want to go to every amusement park and not have to look at that little seat they put at the beginning of the ride and size it up to see if I'll fit.
  17. Also you can try mederma it's in your local pharmacy probably by bacitracin n stuff like that.
  18. My surgeon is Dr. Geiss. I'm am happy with him because he has a passion for what he does. He has a great track record as far as successful surgeries, he has a great team that is consistent which is important when you are making this life change. Dr. Geiss is kind and cares about all his patients.
