  3. Merry Christmas to all of you lapbanders!! I have just begun the process of scheduling surgery for myself. I am 63 years old and am 75 pounds overweight and have been on every program imaginable. "The definition of insanity--right? This sounds like a life savor to me. My questions are many--Ill start with this. Are you less hungry ? Is there pain involved when you overeat? Just some details of how you feel right after surgery and then post surgery ..Also should I pop the 40 dollars for the book or will I be given all these details/
