What is lap band hell? Do people really gain weight after surgery? I see a lot if discouraging posts where people don't lose for months.

Hey there. I haven't talked to anyone about emotional eating. I know I love sweets. Some of my problem is I'm gluten intolerant. It really limits what I can eat. When I find something I binge on it. I can't exercise yet. I used to all the time. I have a knee injury and may need surgery :-(

Over the Christmas holidays I gained ten pounds. I need to get this weight off before I start my pre-op diet. I don't want to do the pre-op diet and end up where I started. This sucks.
