I have selected a new avator and I chose the butterfly. This has truely been such an amazing journey already and I feel set free from the bondage of food and I no longer am abusing myself.I have a magnet that says " Just when the catapiller thought life was over it became a butterfly " And that is what we are all doing now is going through metamorphis (I have no idea how to spell that) The great thing about it is we are all beautiful and unique and there isn't another just like you. Hi everyone I have been out of town lately but now I am back for awhile my name is Ginny Karr and I live in Vidor, Tx I am a 31 yr. old hairdresser with a wonderful husband of 1 year ( my 2nd ) the first wasn't so wonderful. You guys are all so helpful and I know that we all have felt like DeLarla there's not much I can add except one of you pointed out to me that this is a way of life and for the first time that actually sunk in my head that it will take me alittle while to get my weight down but it will come and it is so amazing the reief that comes after reading a thread like this one that encourages each other and gives us hope thanks ladies for your time and love. I have never heard that either I can't imagine that I don't even get home from work until about 7 and it's usually 8 before I eat and then I wait 30 min to an hour to drink so that seems difficult but I guess it cvan be done but i haven't any problems yet thank God, ginny 299/275/130

Well Linda I know that this is a very sensitive subject and everyone is different. For me it would be hard to keep it a secret because it is such a part of my life, it is my life and hey let's face it is obvious to the ones around us that our weight has gotten out of hand. For me I found that my family and friends have been extremely supportive. The people who are close to you love you and want you to live a long happy life. The surgery is by no means for vanity reasons it is for health reasons the fact that you will be beautiful is just a benifit because you already are beautiful the people that will make smart remarks are uneducated on the matter so you may choose to be selective on who you share with. And as far as your exhusband/soulmate goes if he cares about you the way you do for him he will be glad that you are taking this step. Good Luck to you on your journey you will never be the same. I am a self pay but the fee was covered in our price just for the first fill but i have been getting all of these little bills in the mail I guess I will have to straigthten things out with the hospital talk to ya soon. Ginny

Well I went to the Dr. today for my first fill I was kinda freaked out but everything was cool. I was afraid that i had gained some of my weight back since it seems that I can rreally eat but all wa sgood I have lost a total of 22 pds since surgery 4/19 I was so relieved anyway I now have 1.2 cc is that pretty normal for a first fill? I think the main thing is to eat slow and chew things really good I guess I started getting my appitite about the same time everyone told me not to worry that after my first fill things would change I will let you know on Monday, I had a crazy dream last night about getting my fill it was bizarre. the gas pains are the worst but they will go away soon but I am with Alex you should not be able to eat so much I would call the Dr. for me the 4th week was when I noticed my appitite increase.Ginny 299/283/130

Well today I had my first really bad experience I ate to fast and got sick. I felt horrible I won't do that again. I go Monday for my first fill and i can't wait can I ask them to fill me up tight on my first visit? Ginny 299/283/130 Dr. Spiegel

Hi there I also had Dr. Spiegel and he is great, your first visit with him he will answer all of your questions and spend as much time with you as needed. As far as Mexico I don't know much about it but I do know that I was extremely sore for about 3 days and I commend the people who could travel but there is no way I could have handeled that.
