My puppy has been awesome! she is only 5 months old and Very hyper and usually jumps all over me.When I got home she was just sitting there looking at me... lol now we lay on the couch and cuddle all day

congrats on the weight loss! I was really stressed about the surgery and getting put under as well because I never have before. When I woke up I was really nauseous and in pain. They gave me some anti nausea meds and morphine and felt a little better. My surgery was scheduled for 11 and I was in the recovery room at 1 for about an hour. i was pretty out of it until about 8 that night. I don't know if I answered any of your questions but that was my experience... lol Good luck! You'll do great!

Im on my 2nd day post op and feeling a lot better then yesterday. I'm still having gas pains but its getting better. I've been mostly sipping water today but did manage to get one protein shake down. I'm just not feeling any hunger yet. I was also wondering if everyone get staples? I wasn't expecting them for some reason.. lol I'm not looking forward to getting them out next friday. Thanks!

I was banded yesterday and I'm in more pain then I expected. Mostly when I'm up moving around. I just went for my UGI and everything looks good so I can finally start on clear liquids for lunch. I'm still really tired and can't wait to go home to my bed lol.

My second day on my pre op diet I had a dream I was eating pizza.... woke up wanting a slice so bad.. lol. I've had crazy dreams all week.

Well today is day 6 of my liquid diet and its getting easier! I'm going to a family picnic this afternoon so hopefully I won't start drooling watching everyone stuffing their faces.. lol

Hello everyone! I've been a member here for a while but have never posted anything. My surgery daye is set for july 8th. I'm on day 5 of my 2 week liquid diet. I went for my final appointment today and I've lost 13 pounds since I started the liquid diet. I'll have to say that the first 2 or 3 days were the hardest. The worst part of the day is when I'm cooking dinner for the kids and husband. The only thing getting me through this is humor and support from friends and family.

I am allowed coffee during my pre op diet. Just calorie free sweetener, no cream. I haven't had any and I'm on my 6th day of my pre op diet. Before this week I would have 2 or 3 cups a day. I'm pretty sure That's why I've had this annoying headache
