  1. Bat wing arms, hysterical! Check out www.creditcare.com. They covered everything that my insurance didn't. They also cover visits to the vet and laser hair removal! It's basically a credit card for health issues. It also has 0% to low interest if paid off within a certain time span. I only pay $75/month now. It's great! I'll be using it when I lose my last 25 lbs!
  2. After mine moved, I was uncomfortable for a few days but felt awesome!
  3. Ha ha. Yeah, the pre-op and post-op diets are deceiving. You loose SO much more than when on the band. My nurse recommended, and IT WORKS, switching lunch with dinner. It holds you over longer and you seem more full!
  4. The best advice I can give has already been given EXCEPT for one! I was always starving staying in my calorie zone. I decided to switch dinner and lunch. I was much more fulfilled and I didn't eat as much at night. For dessert I loved making chocolate and pb2 milkshakes ! Just like peanut butter m&ms!

  7. I'm SO GLAD someone asked that. I just had my port revision/replacement last week. It doesn't hurt nearly as bad as the original surgery. I just hope the scars heal! I HAVE A STRANGE QUESTION, after my lap band I couldn't pee very well. It's been 5 days since the revision and I can go per but it takes forever! Did this happen to u?
  8. By the way, you look fantastic! I have 25 lbs more to go but I'm definitely getting those done too! Did insurance cover any of it? Approx how much was it? Also, I know it's a lot to ask, but could you message me before lap band, now, and after the plastic surgeries? You can obviously cover up the naked parts . I just need to know if its for me.
  9. FYI, the fiber bars make your stomach growl from the gas! Lol
  10. The only thing I would say is to cut out the fiber bar and eat more meals a day. Fiber bars made me gassy and didn't go down very well. I ended up having a light breakfast, eggs or something, a fruit, juice, a yogurt, and whatever else sounded good and healthy throughout the day. What SAVED me was eating my dinner for lunch. I would starve until dinner, so I switched it up. Already down 45 lbs in 6 months with NO WORKING OUT! I still eat pizza too!
  11. I was banded 4.5 months ago and am down 45 lbs. my port hurt when I first had the surgery. It hurts less but the pain is still there. My Dr said he could move it to the other side and it may help. Happened to anyone else? If so, did you lose more weight?
