  1. I totally feel you. I'm in the same boat. I was banded in December 2012 and started at 250 now I'm just hanging at 235. I had my third fill last month and finally started to meet restriction. I got a personal trainer and workout 3-4 times a week and I track my calories on MFP. I'm trying to stay motivated but I feel so disappointed.
  2. I was driving by day two because I experienced minimal pain and wasn't taking pain medication.
  3. Everyone is different after surgery & anesthesia. I think you should go with how you feel at the time.
  4. Work on it now or you'll regret it later. I gained about the same prior to surgery and hate myself for it. The weight I'm losing during the liquid phase is only putting me at my baseline.
  5. I just went on MFP and added friends
  6. Congrats December bandster, good luck and may you have a speedy uneventful recovery.
  7. My doctor recommended chromium & magnesium for my sugar & carb cravings
  8. I'm kind of new to this app. How do you add friends?
  9. I got my band on the 26th. I discussed my anxiety about the impending gas pains. And my doctor really listened to me because my gas pains are very minimal. Don't know if he expelled a lot of it or what but I am soooo grateful. I'm doing well and excited about this journey.
  10. Thanks ladies, I plan on learning all I can. The good thing is I know a few people that have been banded and they are very supportive.
  11. I just received a call and my surgery is scheduled for December 27th. I'm anxious, nervous, and excited. I can't wait for the next step of this journey.
