  1. I am 9 days in my post op and Ivan concerned b/c I am not hungry. I've been sipping my Protein shakes but it's taking me about 3 days to get through. I am doing 1/2 cup of chicken broth. But that's forcing myself. Any suggestions?
  2. I am 9 days old. Use ur heating pad. That really helped me. The gas will come not. I took Mylanta. B/c my Dr said the pain med would, as my granny says, stop me up.., so Mylanta has helped with the gas as well. Good job! Hang in there!
  3. Thank you for sharing. I am 9 days post-op. and the port has been itching and hurting. Just figured in time it would get better.

  7. Yes. I am on the pre-op diet now. I do have medication for it and when I met with the surgeon the other day, he told me I should be fine by surgery time. My mom made the cranberry juice suggestion.
  8. Hello, I'm having my surgery the second week in Dec. I have a UTI and want to know if its ok to drink a little cranberry juice?
