Why all this noise??
The whole conversation cracks me up!! I'm only laughing because its true! I am experiencing every single thing you all are describing my belly sounds like their is a bear in it!! Although at this point I am finding it easier to pass gas than to belch but I never really have had an issue with either of those in the past. My family once voted me the one most likely to ask a stranger to pull my finger haha yep

Two week Follow up
I was banded On 12/21 and WOOOHHHOOO I had my two week follow up today. I've lost 15 lbs.; which they told me was fantastic!!! I get to move on to mushies and I'm sooo excited! Any good suggested from you all? I had some of the sugar free applesauce earlier and although it didn't taste like steak; my face sure looked like I was eating steak lol. I go back on February 2nd for my 1st fill. So happy, Beth

Can I still ride a roller coaster?
- Post Op Hunger!!
I was banded on 12/21 and I was told clear liquids the first day then liquid I can fit through a straw after that and I have been having tomato soup made with water and its so much more filling than the broth. I have just been mixing it up. I've lost 12 lbs so far. Good luck.- Jan2012 to Jan 2013
WOW!! That's fantastic!!- Can I still ride a roller coaster?
- Can I still ride a roller coaster?
I am newly banded 12/21 and I know this is probably an odd question but its been on my mind the past couple of days and I'm hoping someone out there can put my mind at ease. My family and I are planning a trip to Disney World at the end of March and I want to be able to ride the thrill rides with everyone else. I was really just worried about all the jolting with where the port is placed. Eventually my goal is to go back to Cedar Point in Ohio and ride the roller coaster I was to fat to fit into a few years ago. Thanks for all your help, Beth- Muscle relaxer???
I am prescribed Zanaflex and my doctor didn't tell me I couldn't take them but I would still say ask your own physician.- Did anyone binge eat before the band?
I gained 8lbs in the 3 weeks before surgery which I could kick myself in the butt for. I had lost 42 pounds since March on my own and because I panicked I gained 8 lbs of that weight back. I knew better and now it just makes any weight I loose these first two weeks of the liquid diet less significant. Try to stay strong and continue to eat what you know is appropriate. You will be able to eat those foods again but just smaller portions. Don't let your mind mess with ya like I did. ???Š- New and just banded 12/21
I was banded on 12/21 and yes my discomfort is on my right side too below my large incision. I told my husband it's not pain it's more like a nagging, I just can't seem to get comfortable pain. I keep moving around trying to find my comfort spot but I usually lay a small pillow over that side and for some reason it seems to help. Hope it gets better for you.- Hello this is my first post
Just wanted to say Hello to everyone. I hope I'm posting this the right way. I was banded on 12/21 and so far things are going great. I think the worst part for me was the pressure from the gas used during surgery. I'm a week into the liquid diet and I'm really surprised that I haven't been hungry. ALTHOUGH, I have been having really weird dreams about eating things I shouldn't lol I told my husband there more like nightmares because even in my dream I remember think WHY am I eating this its really gonna hurt when it goes down. Anyone else experience these types of weird dreams?
