Ok, so I know this is going sound super weird, but I've had this problem before I've found Biotin helps but through a Mexican friend I found out that if you crush up birth control pills and mix them in with your shampoo it help with the hair loss and allows hair to grow quicker. I'm no expert but it has worked on me, it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot. I've found a lot of friend who no longer use their pills and they give them to me. Just a thought.

I had my surgery today at The surgery center in Houston with Dr. Reilly. I have to say he was awesome and so were the pre op nurses. And contrary to a lot of the stories I've read my post op team was great with me, they didn't rush me and were very friendly towards my mom and myself, they answered all of our question and made sure they explained everything to my mom in Spanish. I guess I was very lucky. Good luck.

Hello All, I'm getting banded this Thursday the 20th (yayyyy!!!). I'm excited and ready for this new beginning for me. I have a question for those of you that were already banded, but if you have any advice I will take it. I want to know what you guys would recommend me buying before he surgery to make the post-op process easier? Also, are there any vitamins that you guys would recommend and have had god experience with? Maybe some that would help with hair loss and such. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I just got my insurance approval and my surgery date is 12/20!!! I can finally see it now that the insurance approval is out of the way! Yay!!!

For me I had all the tests done before and then it was put through to my insurance, because that's what they use to make a decision. I have UHC.

That's great to heAr. I'm really looking forward to have everything scheduled and ready to go. For those of u who've already had the surgery, how far out was ur surgery scheduled?
