  1. I got mine at Wal Mart. . .they are tiny little pills!
  2. I was banded on the 16th and my nurse sent it this past Tuesday!
  3. My multi vitamin has about 800mcg, but I also take a biotin supplement daily that has 10,000 mcg. . .so I guess about 10,800 mcg.
  4. Did they put a patch behind your ear for nausea? If so remove it now! That is one of the side effects if tge patch. . .my nurse told me to watch for changes in vision, and if I had any to remove the patch!
  5. It feels like I need to go see the chiropractor! Guess it's all part of the healing process!

  7. I made this shake today! It was sent to me by Dr Snow's nurse. . .it was SO good and HIGH in protein! I did everything by 1/2, because I knew that I would be able to drink all of it! Cheesecake smoothie 1/2 cup 2% Cottage cheese 1/2 oz Light Cream Cheese 1/2 cup Nonfat Milk 2 tsp Stevia 1/2 tsp vanilla Extract 1/4 cup Berries (your choice) Directions Blend ingredients in a blender until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
  8. Starshine33, when is your post-op appointment and when us your first fill? My post-op is Dec. 3 My first fill is Dec. 11 Dec. 11th seems so soon. . . I guess I'm worried about the soreness! Hopefully it'll be gone by then!
  9. Yes! I do have plain protein (Unjury). . .haven't decided what to put it on or in yet! Do you have any suggestions? I can have: broth Creamed Soups Blended (chicken, tomato, potato) Protein shakes Yogurt (no fruit) SF jello/pudding 32 or more Water a day Anything I can put in a blender (ie, smoothies)

  11. I'm starting to be hungry ALL of the time! I don't want there to constantly be something in my pouch. . . I would feel so guilty if it stretched!
  12. As I read I see that most docs want their patients to have 2-3 shakes a day . . . How is that possible if you are only suppose to eat 3 meals a day? Where do you fit in 100% juice, tea and broth?

  17. Well, the doc said to remove all of the steri-strips and to keep the areas clean and dry! I sent a picture by email to his office and they said my scars are doing really well. I just have to make sure I use an unscented body wash. He also said not to recover the scars. . . he said that the air would be good for them! The body wash he recommended was Aveeno unscented Skin Relief Body Wash. . . he said that the oatmeal will help with the itching while the incisions heal.
