  1. Well, tomorrow is my day! I have to be at the hospital at 6 am. They said I am the first surgery, which I guess is good. I am nervous but I know I'll be fine. Can't wait to be on the other side of this! Good luck to everyone who's having surgery this month!
  2. I live in Fort Worth and my sugery is set for December 6th. I started my pre op diet today, so far so good! I was suppose to start on Thanksgiving day, but I didn't want to explain to my extended family why I wasn't eating. I'm going through True Results in Hurst, they've been extremely nice and helpful. I am starting to have some anxiety about the surgery. Not the lapband itself, but the IV! Of all things, I know. I have rolling veins so I'm starting to drink a lot of Water now! I would like to lose about 75 pounds. My husband had the sugery a month ago and he's lost a little over 30 pounds. He's done so good!
  3. Thank you for your replies. He slept a little better last night and went for a walk this morning. And I'm going to buy him some peppermint tea to see if that will help. Thanks!
  4. My husband had his lapband sugery yesterday (I will be band in December) and he is having a very hard time sleeping. He's not having pain from the surgery, but pain from the gas in his shoulder. He's sleeping in a recliner, with heating pads. He's been walking and drinking Water. Had some chicken broth and juice. Any suggestions?? I feel so bad for him..... Thanks!
