  1. Hi, I’m similar to you.. I although I had my band done in 2013. I’m now looking at gastric bypass. I’ve had my appointment with the GP and booked into the surgeon next month. I think it’s standard practice to do it in 2 stages.. I had the liquid taken out of my bad 18 months ago so I’m hoping they might be able to do the surgery at once.. given it may have had time to rest with out it the liquid in it. The nurse told me that they will consider once they get in there. ??‍♀️ but talk to the surgeon and see what he says. Are you booked in? Can you ask them if all is ok once they get in there if they can do it all at once.
