  1. I went for a fill this morning and yet again, my band & port have become disconnected. This is the second time in less then a year that this has happened. I am so frustrated rightnow. I am ready to have the whole thing taken out. I have also had 2 slippages. I have never thrown up or don't overeat. Can anyone help???? I have to call my surgeon to set up an appt to see him, I just want to be ready with any info I can. Thanks.
  2. I was banded by Dr Bertha in Morristown. I loved him. I wasn't to impressed with the staff at Morristown Hosiptal. I had to have a minor procedure by him, but had it at Dover Hospital. I liked the staff much better there.
  3. I had my first fill 90 days after being banded by Dr. Bertha. I was told it was because of insurance reasons. I felt like I had no restriction right before my fill. I was filled with 7cc in a 10cc band. I just had my second fill on Thursday, 1.5 cc more and totally ristricted right now.
  4. I had my surgery with Dr. Bertha and really liked him. I had no problem with his bedside manner. My problem was MOrristown Hopsital. The nurses and staff had no bedside manner. As far as the nutritionist and psych, Bertha gave me a paper with what needed to be done. There were two listed on the paper, the second people listed took insurance. No out of pocket for either, the nutritionist or the psych. They were in Morristown in two differnt offices. The psyc really didn't do much but the nutritionist, her name was Debbie, was really good. Good luck.
  5. Hi everyone! I am new to this site. I just got banded on 3-12-07. My doctor did not make me go on a two week pre-op liquid diet. It's been a little hard so far, had my first break down this morning. I am not physically hungry just mentally.
