  1. So I was banded yesterday afternoon and the gas pains have ranged from moderate to severe. But one think I found online which does significantly help is putting a heating pad on my shoulder. It minimizes the worst pain - doesn't go away but makes it bearable.

  4. Hi all! So I am finally getting the lap band on Friday (woohoo!) but I'm nervous about the gas pains. Is there any way to avoid them or at least minimize them as much as possible? I am a big baby when it comes to pain, and I've heard the gas pains can be awful. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!
