  1. I was banded 10-12, i was up moving around and doing well. I went back to work on 10-13 no problems. Have been feeling pretty good until yesterday and then it felt like a ton of bricks have been dropped on my. Yesterday couldnt go to the bathroom so tried everything I could find, nothing worked. Today I'm in so much pain but afraid to take anything. Dr said I would be ok. Guess I need to just sit around and wait. Sorry just needed to vent

  6. I am having mine done tomorrow also, I have to be there at 7am. As far as I know they don't give you anything to calm your nerves. Just remember that when you go in they will give you medicine to go to sleep, take deep breathes until they start the medicines to keep calm. This a wonderful and exciting journey we all are on and there is so much support here. Will keep you in my prayers.
  7. 17 hours until I will be at the surgery center. By this time tomorrow I will already be back home resting. I am getting excited. I don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight. Liquids until midnight. Anyone else going tomorrow getting excited?
  8. Congrats, hope you can go home soon.
  9. I have moments where i get nervous, but they aren't very often. I am so excited that I am getting it done. I have been researching and wanting to get it done for the last 2 years.

  11. Just got a follow-up call from the surgery center to see how yesterday was. Then they told me the time of my surgery for Friday changed from 10am to 7am. Wow, think I just had my first feeling of anxiousness about the surgery.
  12. Just got done with having my EGD done, heading home. So excited they gave me my surgery time for Friday Oct. 12, @ 10 am. I can't wait. Keeping everyone in prayer that are getting it done today.
  13. I am scheduled October 12, have been on the pre-op diet since Friday and got really sick with a migraine today. I had a small portion of chicken and it made me feel better. I've dropped 5lbs since Friday, hoping this doesn't hurt anything by eating today. I have my endoscopy in the morning.
