  9. yea i think most DR are a little different but follow the same kinda guidelines,, my dr said 2 weeks liquid 2 weeks mushy then move onto solids,, but i think u just need to keep in contact with them about how hungry you are and how your feeling, liquids and mushy foods are just cuz the swelling is going down and to get us used the the feeling of our bands, good luck for your op,, it really isnt as scary as we think plus make surr you have all your liquids n stuff ready for when you get home and a heat pack
  10. yea a little bit,, but only really if i drink to fast or if i sit around for too long,, i started walking on one week post op which helped alot with the gas,,, im feeling pretty much back to normal now, which makes it a little hard cuz i have to keep reminding myself to drink slowly lol ,, its real uncomfy if i drink too fast

  19. wow i really didnt even think of it that way,,, i was just thinking i was sooo hungry,, but your right i need to follow the instructions cuz doing it my way got me here,, crap cant believe i was so quick to slio back into old thought patterns,, a little scary :/ so glad to havw this community to keep me on track,, maybe im not getting enough protien in ?? would that be why im so hungry ?? its not a head hunger its a "my tummy is grumbling and whinging at me" hungry,, any suggestions on how i can stick to the rules but kinda satisfy that as well ?

  21. will i do serious damage if i move to the mushy stage too soon ??
  22. the pulling feeling isnt doing damage,, its just your body adjusting , we just have to remember to take it EASY lol as much as we feel pretty much back to normal our bodys are still HEAL INTERNALLY and adjusting to pretty much a unknown object,,, ive been able to manage ny shoulder pain with just iburofen ,,, also i know it hurts but do arm stretches it helps move the gas and helps a bit
  23. onw week post op still have gas n shoulder pain amd in starting to feel my port pull when i move :/ all normal but super uncomfy
  24. ive lost 5kg since surgury,,, 11lbs and ten kg in total so 22 lbs one week twos and still shoulder pain n gas
  25. sooo today is my first saturday being out of bed / post op comma ,,, and my house mates have a few friends around having drinks in the shed and the all decided to get pizza : / and my favourite drink rummmmm EEEKKK so much temptation ,,, i knew that weekends would be hard as most of my friends head out clubbing and to partys on the weekends as do I ,, but not drinking alcohol is just al adjustment ill have to get used to ,, not just cuz the soft drink in the drinks will make me burp which is a little uncomfortable,, but also cuz there is soooo many calories in those drinks that its really NOT WORTH IT,, so yea just thought i would give you all a quick update,, get that off my chest as it is going to be one of those hurdles ill have to get through,, hope you all have a lovely weekend
