  4. I love the Unjury products. I'm 3 weeks post op and used them pre-op and now. The chocolate shakes, unflavored and chicken are great. you can call them and talk to someone. it has 21g protein and if made with skim milk- 29g. Go the website. great recipe ideas. I will be using them now on to make sure I always get enough protein and you can add them to your food. Crystal light, that helps too.
  5. That is what my Dr. went by too.
  6. I had the same requirement but the BMI could go down after my intial appoinment. They want you healthy and learning your new way of eating before you have this done. I think the 6 months of preperation was great. I really learned alot. Take in all the advice you can get from you Dr's and support groups. I just got banded on Jan. 4th. Good luck to you Cassie
  7. I am 5 days post op but still in the hopital. Had severe swelling so nothing passed. would wait a day then try to drink, still stuck and with the acid refux in there the pain and burning in my chest was unbearable. did a test to see if cleared yet but wasn't. they took out the 1.9cc they put in at surgery and now again only IV for another day.this has been going on for 5 days. thursday they will do the test again to see if cleared and then I can drink again on thursday. Hoping to go home on Friday. omg, that will be a week.

  9. Surgey was on Jan. 4th. Ended up in the hospital. I could not keep anything down. Took a test and had drink some awful stuff. Showed that nothing is going through, so swollen. I will be in for 2 days. Drinking some Water and gave me some Ujury chicken Soup. Very good. Has anyone else have this happen to them?
  10. Done with surgery, i know what everyone it's taking about the gas. Omg. Waiting to go home.

  13. Hi Alexa, I'm getting Banded on January 4th. The diet I'm on is almost like yours, 3 shakes, 2 Protein bars, 3oz. lean meat and veggies. not bad. oh and lots of Water (crystal light). What's funny was I was thinking about the same concern as yours. I wanted to wish you luck on Wednesday. Let me know how it goes. Cassie
  14. Been on the liquid diet for 2 days. so hungry. been drinking decaf. tea. the shakes are good..
  15. I'm starting my Pre-op diet today. I was told NO caffine- so I'm drinking decaf coffee and tea. Good luck to you, When is your surgery date. Mine is January 4th. Had my "last meal" and Martini last night. mmm so good.
