  1. thanks everyone for all the good sugestions. I started a food journal yesterdays trying to keep track of what I eat, my calorie intake for the day and also which food I cant eat without vomitting. I will call the surgeon tomorrow and schedule an appt. you guys are the best.
  2. I had my surgery July 07. I only lost 40lbs out of the 100lbs I need to be a healthy weight. Now it feels like I am putting some of it back on. I can barrely eat without vomiting but still gaining weight:mad:. I feel like a big failure. it feel like I can never get a break. I'm embarrassed to go back to see my surgeon. help I am beside myself right now.:confused:
  3. hello everyone I need help I had my surgery 5 mths ago and only lost 32 lbs I had two fills and I am hungry all the time and I have no restriction at all. I can eat any portion size food that I want I have to stop myself from eating and still not feel full. I have the big vg band. I don't know what to do I am schedule to see the surgeon next month but I was hoping to loose at 50 lbs by now. even I exercise three times a week for 2 hours each time still the weight is coming off extra slow. please help me I am so discourage
  4. I need help I am hungry all the time I am on mushie food they are not helping at all. yesterday I eat two pieces of chicken rings with mashed potatoes and by 10:00 pm I was starving. I will see the surgeon in two week hopefully he will give me my first fill. any sugestion I really need help

  6. had my surgery on monday came home yesterday. I'm in so much pain it's hard to move around. I try to walk but it hurt more I also think I'm having gas pain on top of the regular pain, they discharge me from the hospital only with liquid tylenol because I'm allergic to all the big guns. please help me I don't what else to do any sugestion.:help:

  8. saw the surgeon this morning. he gave me a diet to follow two weeks before surgery, I am so exited and scared at the same times. alot is going through my mind like what if something go wrong with the surgery. what if I am that 1 % that have severe complications. please somebody HELP ME:help:
  9. hi LTjr I just schedule my appointment with him next thursday to have a date for surgery I met him at my second session and I was very impress he answered all my questions, now I am scared and happy at the same time
  10. hey lucky you because I just went to see the Dietician & psychologist this week over at BIDMC I was told to loose at least 15 lbs
  11. hi Gingin I'm going to Beth Israel Hopital for mine and so far the staff there are great and I know a few people who had good experiences with all of their surgeon so check them out go to their website for more info, Dr Jones, Dr Sanchez I know they have two more. I've met Dr Sanchez she is nice
  12. I had my first appointment this morning it was ok. Nutritionist and spychiatrist in two weeks. I am happy and worried at the same times. did anyone had to remove their gallblader before surgery?:nervous
