  1. Thank you so much. I'm now on my 5th day post op and feeling better and better thankfully I think just reading some of the things on here are discouraging and were worrying me that something was wrong but I know that my body just went through serious surgery and it needs to heal!
  2. I'm scared I'm not getting the amount of protein and water I need throughout the day...I can only drink 2 protein shakes a day at 4oz each and its a struggle. And I'm only consuming like 24 oz of water a day of that.

  4. I got banded yesterday and I am in so much pain. I didn't think it was going to be this bad. Hurts to get up and down. I was told to walk but it hasn't really gotten the gas moving and I tried taking the gas x and that also isn't moving it. I need some positive feedback because now I'm feeling like maybe this wasn't such a good idea.
  5. Pain isn't fun, but I'm starting to feel better.
  6. Awake and well! Just in a bit of pain thanks for the thoughts.
  7. TODAY IS THE DAY! Have to be at the hospital at 6:15 so nervous & extremely excited.
  8. Me too me too we are bandster buddies! I can't fall asleep and I have to be at the hospital at 6 ahh. So nervous but most certainly more excited! Good luck!!

  12. Friday is the day and I'm getting more nervous and more excited everyday...more excited than nervous. The only thing I'm really afraid of is how much pain I'm going to be in afterwards. My Doctor said I'll be fine but I've read some horror stories and its making me nervous. Anyone have some positive feed back from after surgery?
  13. I'm at the end of day 2 and tonight I was put to the test. I'm 21 and like to go out once and a while to the bar and have some drinks with friends. Tonight not only was I DD sipping my water all night, I even stopped at a fast food restaurant for my friends and didn't order anything. And as they are all eating not once did I even think about asking for a mesley French fry. If I can put myself in a situation like that and come through strong I feel like I won't have a problem with the rest of the pre op or the diet ahead of me. Not only am I proud of myself but I am so excited for my weightloss journey to begin. Good luck to everyone!
  14. My date is the 21st I could not be anymore excited than I am. Just started my pre op diet today. I feel as if its going to be easier than I thought. You have to think, its for a better you.
