Welcome to Lapband family.!! I started my pre op 3/23/12 @339 lbs banded 4/6/12 as of 6/30/12 I have lost 43 lbs I am 296 lbs.it's still early but I have had No complications from the band.I got stuck eating too fast a couple of times but no vomiting, sliming, nothing.I have had one fill and have refused the the last 2 fills cuz I am still losing.I can eat anything but take more time with dry meat. There are litigation lawyers for everything so I wouldn't worry about that. But do take this seriously follow ur surgeons reccomendations."Most" people here will support you and root u on no matter what WLS you decided to get because we all understand that this was a really hard decision.I'm glad you were banded and took charge of your life.like I said this is family here read, ask post, someone will be here to support you or give u tough love when needed.Goidluck in your journey.:-)
