  1. When I woke up from surgery I had the belly binder on. I wore it all the time for 3 weeks Only took it off for a shower. Made it feel so much better.
  2. That is great news. I too am a 12. Would love to take an 11. I really hate having big feet. It makes shoe shopping so difficult.
  3. Glad u r feeling better!! Tomorrow will be a better day !!!
  4. Sannah. I think you should go to the ER if you feel like something is not right. It can't hurt. Keep us posted. Beth
  5. Hi Sannah. It's Beth from December Sleevers. Just read this entire post. You are so strong. Am curious how your appt. goes? If she treats you the same way I think it's time to move on. There are too many great doctors out there to allow someone to treat you like that, especially with all you have been through. Best of luck today. Hope u r feeling better. Soon this will be a bad memory and you will be feeling great!!! Keep us updated.
  6. Love that story!! Then can certainly steal or thunder.
  7. Just time it with a nail clipper. I think it happens to a lot of us!!
  8. It took me about 10 days to sleep on my side comfortably-without the pulling sensation.
  9. I was December 20th also. I am feeling much better. Had terrible pain in and around my largest incision. I have lost 27 pounds since I came home from hospital, but most of that is water from all the IV. Was hungry yesterday for he first time. Usually I have to make myself have a drink Or shake, but a couple times yesterday I was hungry. I actually had a cheese stick. It was so good!!! No problems!!!
  10. I have the same thing. I am 6 days out Right side largest incision where my stomach was removed. I went to dr today he removed all bandages and gave me a shot right next to the incision. Some type of numbing medicine. Then he gave me pain patches to wear over the incision. Said it was from cutting through layers of muscles to insert port and from the internal stitches. Hurts like hell. Have to wear the binder all the time and hold my right side when I walk. Thought I would be feeling better by now. Dr said it could take 3-4 weeks To heal. .
  11. I have the same issue but in my largest incision on the right side. I had surgery 6 days ago. I went to my dr. today because I can hardly move and my right side hurts. He said it is a muscle that was cut through to gain entry with the port. Gave me a injection directly where it hurts. Some kind of lidocaine. Also gave me patches to wear with lidocaine. Said it would take 3-4 weeks For the muscle to heal. It is really painful. All the other sites are fine. I am also wearing a binder which helps. Ask your doctor for one in ur size. Feel better.
  12. Glad you are doing well. Have a good rest.
