I intially met with Dr. Ben-Meir, and was excited about him doing my surgery. After he left, I began meeting with Dr. Hassan...He's great. He did my VSG. No complications, no issues. Great guy, personable, smart, articulate and great with the tools. I only have one scar remaining and I'm only 4 weeks post op. Feel confidant that Dr. Hassan is the MAN! His staff also...they are great. No complaints...

I'm five days also. I can get everything down okay. The pain subsided substantially over the days...I walked a lot...close to 3miles yesterday. I'm hungry though...ready for purée. Look at it like this come June you'll be shopping for bathing suits! Sn, sneezing sucks!

Lynchdalynx...don't worry...everyday gets better. Yesterday it hurt when I drank crystal light...today it doesn't. Today its uncomfortable trying to drink protein shakes.

Wow...I don't have a scale...lOL so I don't know what I lost if any....other than 80 % of my stomach. I did go for a walk today to the end of my street...Might've been a mistake I was weak and gittery afterwards...Although it was like a mile and a half....gotta take it slower!

I feel fine...still very hard to drink liquids...gotta go really slow. And a sip is not what you think, its actually half of half of what you think it is...LOL

I'm home!!!!!!!!!

Well...I paid my deductable Thursday...had my last big boy meal just now. No turning back now! We gotta keep in touch...follow each others progress!

My date is Monday also...still a little nervous!
